Notes: from alter ego cataloge Somporn Rodboon (curator) . February 1999.

Maria Sevastaki (Greece) and Ithipol Thangchalok‘s automatically developed the cross sign to work with for this project.  With energy flow both artists’ paintings indicate natural substances such as air, water, fire and earth.    The cross sign symbolizes masculine and femine strength, human existence and collaboration.    Beyond the surface of subject matter, both artists’ canvases display considerable technical ability and deep original expression.   Exquisite brushwork from this couple is remarkable.
